Create Your WebsiteChoose Your Website DesignWhat is a Referral Code? Referral Code is the code that has been sent to you by a friend from Web247.net or the code that is printed on our business cards. Please see the section on Reward Points for more information. How do I enter a Referral code? You can enter a Referral code in Step 1 when you start creating your Web247.net website, when you'll be prompted for the code. Please note that you will not be able to enter a Referral code after you have joined Web247.net, so please remember to have it with you when you are creating your account. Please see the section on Reward Points for more information. How do I find a design that's right for me? In the Web247.net Design Finder you'll see that there are lots of categories listed. If you select the box next to a category, then press OK, you will see a list of designs that fall into this category. I know which design I want to use, but now I can't find it again. If you have made a note of the design number, you can use the Design Finder's Enter an Individual Design Number to find it for you. If you didn't make a note of the design number, try using the Design Finder to select by colour and narrow down your choice. Enter Your Website DetailsI'm trying to enter a website name for my company, but your system won't let me, and says my website name is not Available. This could be because you are typing the name with characters that are not allowed; your website name must have no spaces and no apostrophes and must be a least 3 characters long. You may be trying to enter a website name that has already been used, so try typing the name you want a slightly different way - with a suffix, prefix or using dashes. Why won't my map show? The maps are based on real addresses that are stored by our mapping providers that looks at an up-to-date database to find the map. If you have not entered your full address, or have misspelled it, or typed in the postcode or zip code incorrectly, then your map will not be found. Please contact us if you are still having difficulties after you have checked the expiry date on the Promotional Code and you are sure that you have entered the code correctly. What methods of payment do you accept? We accept VISA, MasterCard, JCB and Euro Card How do I publish my new Website? You don't need to do anything as your Web247.net website will be automatically published after you have joined and your payment has been accepted by us. How long will it be before I can see my Web247.net website? You will be able to view your new website immediately we receive confirmation that your payment is successful. Your AccountYour Personal DetailsHow do I change my contact details? Click on the Your Account-Your Details screen and change the information you want, remembering to save your changes before you go to another screen. Change Your PasswordHow do I change my Web247.net password? Click on the Change Your Password option and enter your old password and then your new password, remembering that they are both case-sensitive. How do I change my Web247.net login ID? Your Login ID is your personal email address. You can change your email address in the Your Details screen from your main account screen. Recommend a friend to Web247.netHow does Recommend a Friend work? Please see the Reward Points page. Your Payment HistoryWhat is Your Payment History? This shows you all your Web247.net invoices. From this page you can view individual invoices and print them. Add Another Website to Your AccountHow do I set up another website? Select the Add a New Website option and you begin the 1-2-3 Step process again for a new website. You can add as many websites as you wish, but you will be charged for each one you add. You are also free to choose which type of payment option you want for each new website, so that you can have a permanent Annual website for your company and also set up a temporary Pay As You Go website to run an event, show or exhibition. Your Home Page and Additional PagesI entered text into my page but it still hasn't updated it with the new details.
You must remember to save your changes, by clicking on the Save Changes icon at the top of the page. I don't want people to see my pages until I have finished editing them.
You can opt to hide any new pages you are setting up until they are finished and ready for everyone to see. To hide pages, click on Hide Page in Your Account Pages screen. To show them again, click on Show Page icon. Can I put my own pictures and photographs onto my Web247.net website? Yes, you can upload images, including photographs and pictures using the Image Library. Please ensure that images do not exceed the maximum file size allowed of 250kb and they are in a jpg, gif or png format. How do I put a photograph on my Home page or Additional Page?
Go to Your Home Page and Additional Pages and select Edit Page on the page that you want to edit. Click on the Insert/Edit Image icon on the menu that is at the top of the box where you can enter your text. This will take you to the Image Library, where you can choose an image that you have already got, or upload a new one. Can I edit my photograph once it's in my Home Page or Additional Page? Yes, if you click on the image so that it is selected, you can move it and re-size it. I can't upload my photograph Please make sure that your file is less than 250kb and is either a jpeg, png or gif format. Your Location Map and Contact DetailsWhy won't my map show? My new website doesn't have a Contact Form Page You need to make sure that you have entered an email address in Step 2 for this to happen. If you haven't don't worry, click on Your Organisation's Contact Details, then click on Edit Address. Select your Primary Address and enter your email address - please note that this must be entered in your Primary Address. Change Your Website's DesignHow do I use the Design Finder? Your Image Library is where all of your personal photographs and pictures will be kept, including your Showroom Images plus those that you use on your Home Page and Additional Pages. You can use it to manage your images - you can upload and delete images here, and view the ones you have uploaded. Your Image Library cannot be viewed or accessed by other Web247.net account holders. How do I upload a photograph to my Image Libary? To upload a new image, click on the box called Browse (the button name may vary depending on the browser that you are using). Find the right folder on your computer where your file is kept, and double click the mouse on the file that you want. This will select the file and put it in the window on the Web247.net Image Library selector. Now click on the box called Upload Your Image, and you should see the image appear in the top left hand box of the list of your images. Now click on the Select button under the Image and it will be put into your page for you. How do I delete a photograph from my Image Libary? To delete a photograph to Your Image Library, select Your Acount - Your Image Library. Now find the image you want to delete and click on the Delete button. You will be asked to confirm if you are happy to delete the file. Select Yes if you are sure it is the image you want to remove. Do Your Own TranslationHow can I make my website multilingual? First select Your Account - Your Website's Languages. This will give you a list showing the languages that are available for you to set up your translation. Select the language you would like and click on Add Language. Now you can click on the To Do List and this will show you all the sections that you will need to translate. Please note that you will need to arrange for your own translations. Your Showroom ItemsHow do I add items to my Showroom? First, decide which pictures you would like to have. Make a note of where you keep these on your computer. You will need to know the directory and folder names and also the name of the file. Why can't I upload my picture to my Showroom? Please make sure that your file is less than 250kb and a jpeg, png or gif format. What can I display in my Showroom? Pictures of all your products and services, employees, local facilities, before and after photos, reference sites, and anything else that will help visitors to your website understand what you do can be shown on your Showroom. Web247.net will remove any material that it considers to be in bad taste or in contravention of the law. Your Showroom LayoutWhat does Default size mean? The default size of your image is a way of setting a standard size for your images, so that every time you put a new picture or photograph into your showroom, they will be the same size, to make your showroom look consistent. You can set the size globally so that all showroom pictures will be the same size, or you can change each showroom item to have a different size image. Your Organisation's CategoriesWhat are Organisation Categories? These are used to help people find your website using the Web247.net Directory. If you cannot see a Category listed, you can request a new one and we will update the list for you. Cancel Your WebsiteMy website has disappeared but I didn't cancel if and I can no longer access my Web247.net account Please contact us today, as it appears we have not received payment from you. You should have received emails from us to explain that we have not received payment from you. Update Your Credit Card DetailsWhat happens if my credit card is due to expire soon, or during the course of my subscriptions? That's OK - you can log-in to your account and update your card details. Please note that if your card expires and you don't update the details, you will no longer be able to see your website. We won't delete your website straight away, so that you have the opportunity to update your card details and so you will still be able to log in to your account to update your details. | |||||||||
